I am not sure why Giovanni and Massimo chose to call this design Firenze. Obviously being Florentines and working in Florence they must have felt the need to call one of their designs Firenze.

As a Florentine myself the only explanation is because... well, because is beautiful just like Firenze.

In the enlarged detail on the left you can enjoy the intricate border work. This is really a design that can be placed in any home, since it can be tied to many colors without really having a predominant motif.
