Made in Deruta
The Raffaellesco design is the most popular traditional pattern from Deruta, challenged only by the similar "Ricco Deruta".
The design takes the name from the famous painter Raphael, although he never decorated majolica, in the XVI century he created the dragon design that dominates the pattern. You can see the "Raphael" dragon in frescos at the Logge Vaticane in Rome. Deruta majolica artists later adapted the motif to the ceramic art.
It is dishwasher safe and meets or exceeds FDA standards.
You can choose between flat rim or scalloped edge!
